License
How the site code, the Chromzy brand, and the artwork may be used.
Effective 29 June 2026 · Studio Chromzy
1. Site code
The HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that power chromzy.com are released under the MIT License, unless a file states otherwise. You may use, copy, modify, and distribute the code with attribution and without warranty.
2. Artwork and brand
Chromzy generative plates, typography, catalogue copy, and the Chromzy name and mark are © Studio Chromzy. They are not covered by the MIT license above.
- Do not use Chromzy artwork for merchandise, commercial products, or misleading endorsements without written permission.
3. Plate holders
When you mint or acquire a plate, you receive ownership of that on-chain token. Unless a separate holder license is published at mint:
- You may display your plate privately and publicly as a profile image, in a personal gallery, or in non-commercial social posts.
- You may not claim authorship of the underlying work or mint unauthorized editions of the same image.
- Commercial use (prints for sale, brand campaigns, etc.) requires explicit approval from the studio or artist.
A formal Commercial Rights Addendum may ship with the mint; if it does, it supersedes this section for holders.
4. Generative living plate
The interactive colour-plate renderer on the home page demonstrates the generative system. Screenshots or exports for personal use are fine; republishing the engine or producing derivative collections from the algorithm without permission is not.
5. Third-party assets
Some pages may reference third-party photographs or fonts under their own licenses. Those rights remain with their respective owners.
